Math: Do 30 minutes of Math, five nights per week, completing all corrections before moving on to new material. ALL CALCULATIONS MUST BE DONE IN YOUR MATH FOLDER; put in the generic formula (if there is one) and solve sequentially, substituting one thing at a time. IF YOU DO NOT SHOW ALL CALCULATIONS, YOU WILL COMPLETE THEM IN LUNCH BUNCH. If you have problems with homework, please call me between 7:00pm and 9:00 pm.
Reading/Writing:
The Lost Mother: Please tell which character you feel is best described by the author and why? (Mention physical traits and personality traits.) Show the evidence for that character by using quotations and page numbers to back up your information. 2 full pages, Arial 12, block style, 1” margins, top, bottom, sides.

Wordly Wise:We’re going to mix it up a little in WW: for next week, 4/20/10, each student will research an interesting medical disorder (e.g., elephantiasis – not mumps or chicken pox) and find the part of speech and definition. Cut and paste it 13 times on a piece of paper to distribute to the class and teacher on 5/4/10 (Students have Spring Trip the following week.) The test will be on Tuesday, 5/4/10.

High School Biology:
Tuesday: We will review the Food Diary and Calorie Input handouts which were given out on 4/8/10. You should keep your food diary from Wed., 4/21/10 through Sunday, 4/25/10. I’m not expecting you to change anything you eat or drink, just to simply record it on the diary. We will discuss it after your Spring Trip.

Digestive Disease/Disorder Research Project: Students have chosen the following:
Al M.- celiac disease; Sam B. Irritable Bowel Syndrome; Alex P.- digestive parasites; Davide M.- Chron's Disease; Sawyer U.- gastroenteritis; Cassius G.-Alagille Syndrome; Alan K. - TBD by 4/15/10. This project will be worth half of the final exam.
Science folders will be collected on Tuesday, March 23rd. Make sure that all assignments are filed under the appropriate divider, and that you can account for all work. As I’ve mentioned, your folder will count as a test grade.
