You may need to purchase a single hole punch and flashcards for vocabulary. Please punch one hole in the upper left hand corner of the card. Also, please make sure you have sharpened pencils for class.

High School Biology:

Please have all materials with you for class. If you are missing portions of any assignments, please complete them by Tuesday. Please make a checklist in preparation for visiting lower school classrooms on Tuesday, November 3, between 9:30-10:30a.m, where you will collect data on surfaces touched and how many times it is touched, symptoms of illness in students, how many times a student touches her/his face, nose, eyes, how many students don’t cover their noses and mouths when they sneeze, and any other observations regarding preventative care. Please leave extra room for additions to this list.
Science folders will be collected on Thursday, October 29th. Make sure that all assignments are filed under the appropriate divider, and that you can account for all work. As I’ve mentioned, your folder will count as a test grade.
Chapter 2 Test on Thursday, 10/29/09. I will pull questions from class notes, handouts, labs, as well as your textbook. If you were absent, please see me to take it at lunch.

As always, if you have questions about material, or if you need help with anything, you can see me every day at lunch, before or after school, or you may call me in the evening between 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
