Math: 30 min. Math, 5 nights per week, doing all corrections first before moving on to new material. ALL calculations must be made in your graph notebook or you will have to stay in for Lunch Bunch and re-do your calculations. If you have a problem, please call me between 7pm-9pm and I'll be happy to work with you over the phone. If we can't resolve the issue, I will work with you first thing the next morning.
Reading/Writing: Please begin your first draft of your classmate's biography after interviewing. The biography will be 5 pages, single spaced, Arial 12 pt., with one inch margins, top, bottom and sides. Pick the top 6 categories that you interviewed to use as the basis for your biography. If you need additional information, talk to your subject. FIRST DRAFT OF BIOGRAPHY DUE ON FRIDAY, 10/2/09.
History: Chapter 3 and 5 presentations. Fifteen minute quiz on Chapters 1 & 2, 10 questions, multiple choice and fill in the blank mostly.
Science: Outline Section 1-4 and answer Questions 1,2,3 for the Section Assessment on Page 35.
Wordly Wise: Test on Lesson 3. Prepare the text for Lesson 4 for the week after Hulbert test.

HS Biology: Prepare a presentation from Science in the News to give to class next Tuesday. Your presentation should take 6 minutes with 4 minutes for questions. Be sure to choose articles that give you enough depth so that you can speak about it for 6 minutes. I left the Science in the News file in your classroom under the Science bulletin board.
For Thursday, 10/1/09, Please read and outline Chapter 2, sections 1 and 2. Do questions 1-4 on page 31. Also do the two handouts: 2-1What are living things? and 2-2 What are adaptations?
