Science Extra Credit

Any student wishing an extra credit assignment for Science may write a two page paper with this topic:

Spacecraft reentering Earth's atmosphere encounter tremendous friction forces. Research the ways materials are designed to resist or reduce the heat generated by the friction of reentry.

This will be due on Wednesday, 5/26/10 and will count as an additional test grade. No late papers will be accepted.

Science Test on Thursday, 5/20/10

Group 5G will have one last Science Test on Sections 1,2,3 of Chapter 2 Physics on Thursday, 5/20/10. The test will be given during Reading and Writing blocks in case anyone needs additional time. We will prepare for it on Wednesday, during Reading and Writing blocks so that the material will be fresh. Since we have the Art Show Rain Date during our Science block on Wednesday, this seemed to be the best idea. The days are dwindling!
